On April 8th two Italian Red Scooters, one ridden by a real Italian, rode to the offices of the Special Operations Warrior Foundation to make our first donation.  It was a great day for riding and a great organization to help our wounded warriors and their families.  The Wounded Warrior Foundation out of Jacksonville, Fl. gets all the glory, but these guys do more with less money.  The donation was in memory of Sgt. Mjr. Stacey "Spiff" Stapleton.  Spiff was a Army green beret and lost his life to cancer last year.  You can read the complete write up under our "Stories" tab.

Random acts come in many forms.  Today I passed a man doing 10 mph on a city street. Shortly after that he stopped me in a parking lot and asked for directions. From his accent I knew he was not from around here. I gave him simple instructions to the post office and he was on his way.
Almost 2 hours later I encounter the same car driving slowly down another street. He pulls over and I stop and ask again if I can help.  He is still looking for the post office. I get back on the scooter and lead him to the post office. He is extremely thankful and offers to pay, but I refuse. I did not refuse the embrace that he gave me as it was a sincere sign of appreciation for him. This small act cost me 15 minutes of a long life.  Time well spent.
